August is here and School is just around the corner

Well August has arrived and Molly is 10 months.  Miles and Morgan start school on the 16th.  And then it will be just me and Molly at the house during the day.  I have not had just one baby at the house since Miles was two.  And even then we were preparing for Morgan's arrival two weeks after he turned 2.  But I am sure Molly and I will have lots of fun.  She is starting to stand on her own for a good bit of time.  It won't be long before she starts taking those first few steps free handed.  She will walk all around the couch, her crib and play pen holding onto them.  But once she knows she has a good balance, she'll be right in the middle of everything.  Here are a few I snapped of her.  I can't seem to get any of her just standing there.  everytime I get my camera out she starts smiling and jumping/bouncing around.

Macavity, Macavity, There's no one like Macavity!!!

Morgan has an obsession with the musical Cats.  She wants me and her to dress up as Cats this year for Halloween.  I don't think I'll be able to find a cheap, but nice fur coat.  I know that I did it to her because, I had her watch it with me at the farm on VHS one night.  We ended up buying her a copy on DVD because she liked it.  Well, that was a mistake.  Morgan would watch the movie all day everyday if you let her, and she wants her room painted black with the cat eye city.  YIKES!!!  I think I have her talked out of that idea, but put myself against a wall by saying that I would paint her favorite princesses on each of the  walls.  I now hear that I need to paint them today, everyday.  OK, enough venting back to Cats.  Morgan will perform the Macavity Poem/Song Scene about twice a month.  It is so cute and hilarious at the same time.  Picture it, here is this 4 year old girl is doing moves that a grown woman does while singing parts of the song.  I need to get it on video one day and show y'all what I mean.  With out farther ado, I give you Morgan dressed for Cats.  ENJOY!!

Family Portraits Time!!!

It is time for us to update our family pictures and get some professional ones done of Molly.  We contacted my Awesome cousin Karen B. Pillows once again to make our family look great.  LOL!!!  Karen is very patient with the kids and me, and she is very talented too.  Karen had really great ideas for places to take pics, and I love the natural feel with some of the poses.  She also takes alot of us being our normal selves too.  Karen came to the farm June 14 to take them and it started to cloud up while we were doing our shoot, but luckily it did not rain.Here are my sneak peeks

Happy 4th of July!!!

We spent today at the farm with the gang hanging out in the pool and having way to much food.  It was a good day, besides it being way to hot.  We didn't shoot fireworks off because Pomaria hadn't gotten a whole lot of rain lately, but we did shoot some off Saturday here in Clinton.  Here is a few pics of Molly in the pool in her Spring form Sun shade float.

Happy Birthday Aunt Bet

Today was Aunt Bet's birthday.  We celebrated the day at the farm with everyone.  We released ballons again.  I believe that this will become a tradition each year to release ballons on Jan.31st and June 24th in her memory.  I know the kids enjoy it and is a good healing process as well.  Here are Morgan and Miles with their ballons.

Let Summer Begin!!!

June is upon us and so is the HEAT!!!!  Molly is 8 months old now.  She has been crawling for almost two months now, and is finally starting to feed herself.  Molly is also pulling up on furniture and in the crib and play pen.The kids are bored because of how hot it is during the afternoons, so I am trying to find ways to entertain them at the house, when we are not swimming at the farm or in Beaufort.  The Wii has been a great way to play fun actives on Wii fit, plus we have played board games or Bingo.  Miles has also lost his 1st top tooth, making a total of 4 teeth this year, and Molly is teething 4 top teeth.  Here are some pics of the kids.

Miles is offically a First Grader

Miles had his Kindergarten Graduation/Award Ceremony today.  It was neat to watch all the boys and girls get individual awards and their diplomas.  Miles got the Most Scientific Award, along with the Award for reading over 100 books this school year, and Perfect attendence 4th Nine weeks.  I got a little teary eyed because not only is Miles growing up so much, but next school year Morgan will be starting 4K.  Here are some pics from Miles's graduation and awards day.

3D Fun

I don't know if any of you are wanting to watch the new Movie Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides or not.  It was a good movie, really enjoyed Johnny Depp and his wise cracks.  I could have done without Penelope Cruz, but she was a small part.  Any way, Ryan and I saw it tonight in 3D, and before the movie started we thought we would have some fun with the glasses.

April showers bring May Flowers?

Well, we really haven't had the rain this April like we did last year.  The beginning of this month we went to Edisto Beach with Ryan's parents for our annual Beach trip.  Here are the pics from that trip

Billy turned 30 on the 17th, Molly was 6 months on the 6th. we celebrated with everyone on the 17th and got alot of good updated pics of Molly. The weather has been so nice that we have been really enjoying the outdoors. Especially have the winter we had.
