Christmas Snow!!

Well we finally got a White Christmas so to speak.  The snow started late last night which I blogged about yesterday.  This morning everything but roads and drive ways were covered in about 4 inches of snow.  Aunt Bet had always wanted a white Christmas, but never got one down here in SC.  So I believe that her gift to us was the snow.  Here are the pics I took this morning.

Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas to ALL!!!
Miles 6 yrs, Morgan 3 yrs 11 months, and Molly 2 months and 11 days (taken 12/17/10)
We spent today at the farm with everyone and had a pretty good time.  This evening after we got home we had snow accumulate about two inches deep before bed time.  It is still snowing and I hope we can have a significant amount for the kids to play in tomorrow morning.
Here is a pic of Molly with Ma in her Christmas outfit.

Here are some of the pics i took tonight of the snow

Molly is 2 months old and Miles turned 6 years old.

WOW!!!!  Time is flying by!  I have decided not to go back to work since we would be spending my pay checks on day care for all three, and Gram and Pop have their hands full with Thomas.  I know I will enjoy this time with the kids and as I know they will too.
Molly turned 2 months old on the 6th and Miles turned 6 today.  Here are some of their pics.

Happy Thanksgiving

We spent Molly's 1st Thanksgiving with everyone at the farm.  It was our year to be up here this year (even years at the farm and odds in Beaufort)  So it was nice to celebrate with everyone, especially since it was our 1st Thanksgiving without Aunt Bet.  I know she was their in spirit celebrating with us.  We have a tradition to say three things that we are Thankful for each year.  Here are my three
1. The new addition to our family, Molly Avannah
2. Another year to celebrate with everyone
3. That I got to spend quality time with Aunt Bet at the end of last year and beginning of this year before she passed.
I hope everyone had a good and Blessed Holiday!
Here is Molly napping after she ate her Thanksgiving dinner...lol!!

Molly is 1month old!!!

Molly has been growing and changing so much.  She is feeding well, about every three hours.  Her eyes are very blue and everyone seems to think she looks like me.  I guess it was about time.  We have been trying to visit with Gram and Pop as much as possible as the Holidays draw nearer.  I think Molly has been their "healing baby".

Pawpaw (my dad) came for a visit since he would be working during Thanksgiving. This was his first time seeing Molly.

39 Weeks

I am 39 weeks and Molly will be here Wednesday.  We are anxiously awaiting her arrival.  Ready to see what she is going to look like, or who I should say. I really do what a blue eyed baby for once.  I thought I was going to have one with Miles, but he decided to change to brown at 13 months.  Morgan was born with her brown eyes.  So we will see about our new one.  Really not looking forward to getting up with the kids at 4:30 am to get ready for the hospital, but we have to.  Here is the last pic of my baby bump.

Zeiders Baby Shower

I had a shower today at the farm.  It was a fun day spent with cousins Shannon and Catherine, Aunt Harriett, Vivian(step-mom), my niece Brittany, Sister Sarah and nephew Thomas, Gram and Miles and Morgan.  I got alot of neat and useful items.  We enjoyed talking, eating (which I'm sure I gained 10 lbs) and playing games.  One of the games we played was to measure my belly against a string everyone had cut previous.  Morgan and Shannon were both dead on.  And here is the pic of Morgan measuring her string.

I am 36 weeks today. Went for my checkup this afternoon and had the lovely Strep B test done. Things are moving along and I am finally down to my weekly checkups. I have 3 weeks left before our Munchkin arrives on Oct. 6. Really getting anxious about this final arrival to our family. Yes, I am going to have my tube tied at the same time. 3 c-sections is more than enough for me, even though the first was not planned. I have the crib and pack n play all set up and ready to go. I have most of her clothes and blankets washed. I took a quick pic of the playpen and the crib before I drapped them with sheets. Our cat Cole likes to get up into things to hide from Itchie and the kids, and I did not want him in either. Hope you enjoy.

Chaplin Baby Shower

Well, we took our final trip to Beaufort before the baby comes this weekend. My sister-in-law Brittany threw me a shower for the family there. It was a nice day and we enjoyed the company very much. I had forgotten my camera, but I did take a picture of the diaper cake she made me with my camera. I got alot of cute outfits for the baby (which I'll upload after I wash them). I also got some much needed items. My Mother-in-law Elizabeth gave us the pack n play, and Aunt Charolette gave us a diaper Genie. I also got some diapers and wipes, and a really great wicker basket from JP and Tiana, which i am probably going to use as her laundry basket. Thank you all very much.

35 weeks

Ok, 35 weeks and counting. Miles measures my belly with his hands everyday and tells me how big Molly is....which is pretty interesting and sometimes depressing when he tells me how big I am. But I know that he is preparing himself to be a brother again. Morgan just asks when I come back from my dr. appts if I had Molly yet. Hilarious, because she never asks if I have her with me when she asks me that. I had my last checkup Sept.2, and the dr said everything looked perfect with my measurements....so that is good. We also have a date for the C-section. Oct.6 @7:30am. WOOHOO!!!! I will have to be at St. Francis women's Hospital at 5:30am. I one month to go and our little one will be here. I have my third 2 week checkup Sept. 16th and then I will have a checkup every week until Oct. 6th.
I am trying to get everything squared away at work and home for her arrival. I am trying to hold off on washing things yet, but I so want to get Molly's crib completed, and clothes put in her chest.
I have been spending part, if not all of my recent nights in the recliner. Seems that is the only way I really get an entire nights sleep. But if I do go to sleep in the bed, durning my early morning bathroom breaks, I just crash in the recliner to help me go back to sleep faster. Listening to the music from Labrynth helps too.
I hope everyone has a good Labor Day....we are having a quiet one....going to visit with Gram and Pop for a little bit, but nothing real big planned.

Oh....Happy Birthday cousin Colten Thomas Burns. He was born today to my cousin Ashley Beckham Burns and Corey Burns.

32 Weeks

I am now 32 weeks and I am feeling it. Every little thing seems to tire me out. Had a good checkup today, all seems right on key. Will go back on Sept. 2.

I have two showers to llok forward to in September. The first will be the weekend of Sept. 10th with the Chaplin family, which will be my time down to Beaufort until after Molly is born. The next one will be with my side of the family on Sept. 24th.

Week 30 is HERE!!!!

I have made it to 30 weeks. Went yesterday to the Drs. to have my glucose test done, which is always a blast. I finished the yummy fruit punch sugary drink in 2 minutes. I guess I have become a pro to these tests, even though I always leave with a headache. I am also now down to every two week checkups. So the countdown begins.

26 week Checkup

Yesterday was my 26 week checkup. I was 25 weeks 6 days, but it was close enough. All vitals checked out great with me and Munchkin. We had to wait over 2 hours to see the docotr which was driving me and the kids insane. I am going to have to have an ultrasound done on my right breast....my OB thinks I might have a blocked duct since I have been having pain in and around the nipple for three days, and I am starting to produce colostrum. She didn't feel anything out of the ordinary, but wants to be sure. On my next appt I will have my glucose test done, so I know I won't be taking the kids with me, because that is an hour or more of a wait.
I still haven't done much shopping for Munchkin, but Gram got her a few items Monday when we went shopping. I am trying to kids moved and rooms setup and organized before I do any major shopping for the baby. Plus we are having to replace the hallway floor due to when our water heater busted, and I want the done before anything else. Enough of the rambling, here is my enlarging baby bump.

It's A Girl!!!

We had our Anatomy ultrasound done today. It is a Girl, and she is healthy and all appears normal, which is a good thing. All test results have been good, so now it's time to wait to see what she will look like. She looks pretty long for a 22 weeks, and she has the Chaplin Profile. So I guess you can say Ryan has pretty strong genes. LOL!!! Munchkin is very active day and night, so i guess I have a wild one on my hands. Miles and Morgan were pretty quiet for the most part. Miles became active at night and Morgan was when she felt like it. She was very unpredictable during her pregnancy.
My vitals were good 112/66 and my iron was good. I lost 3 lbs from my last visit, which i am sure is from me having a stomach bug. I am not going to complain because I know I will gain that all back shortly. Have my next OB Appt. July 6 which will just be to check my length and hear the heart beat. My Glucose Appt. will be in August and then the count down really begins. I have uploaded my baby bump and the anatomy pic (which is pretty fuzzy). Hope you enjoy.

Miles is Growing up!!!!

Yesterday my little man graduated from 4K at MS Bailey Child Development Center here in Clinton. The Ceremony started at 9 am and was about 30 minutes long. since it was a half day and he would be out at 10:45 anyway, I took him home with me and Morgan, who had a stomach bug. I didn't get many pictures due to Morgan not wanting to sit still and people sitting in front of me kept getting in the way. But I have a video below and his cap and gown picture.

Today, on our way home from school, Miles lost his first tooth, that has been loose for a month or so. He was very excited, and he wants to take it to the farm tomorrow to Show Ma and Pop his tooth. So the tooth fairy will not be visiting tonight for that reason. So, without further ado, here is Miles and his gap.

20 Weeks

I am at the Half way mark, finally. I have been feeling alot better, just now really starting to get heart burn every time I eat or drink something. Which I'll suffer thru until I have Munchkin. I have finally moved to Maternity clothes full time now. I was just wearing dresses, but my work pants finally got snug.

We find out the sex on June 7, and we are excited about it. Miles and Morgan think the baby is a boy. Miles really wants a brother to play with, and Morgan wants one so she doesn't have to worry about her Princess dresses. Ryan and I really don't mind either or. We know how to handle either sex. I just want a healthy, happy baby. I will update as soon as we find out.

I have been feeling the baby alot now. I have been feeling movement since 18 weeks, but now it is getting noticeable. I cut my hair Saturday to get ready for the baby. I am trying to become as low maintenance as I can be before the baby comes. It is to my shoulders instead of my waist. I took Ryan with me to make sure he liked the cut. I put the pics up on facebook, so I won't post any here.

I hope everyone enjoys the pic and has a wonderful Memorial day weekend.
Love Always,
Amanda, Ryan, Miles, Morgan, and Munchkin Chaplin

P.S. I took this at work.

Baby Bump

Well, Munchkin is finally starting to show out at 18 weeks. (really it was more at 17 1/2 weeks I think) I'm a little more excited about it this time, then last two times, because so many of my family is expecting as well. I guess it's a whose bigger at this week kinda thing. IDK. But here it is, hope you smile alittle. LOL!!!

Week 12

Well Morgan and I went to the OB to have the 12 week ultrasound done. What a little jumping bean Baby Chaplin was. Morgan got excited when she saw the baby, but the heart beat scared her alittle bit. She thought it was a monster. But after I explained that it was the sound of the baby's heart, she was happy.

Baby is healthy and there is just one. Which was a relief. Ryan and I are now trying to figure out names for the baby. But until then, here are a few of the Munchkin to statisfy, I hope.

LUCKY NUMBER 3!!!!

Found out today that I am 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant with Number 3. Kids are very excited and I...well, I'm little on the fence. I wanted to have a third, but had hoped to have Morgan in school first. But God works in mysterious ways.
I was having some cramping and had to have an ultrasound done to make sure it was not an eptopic pregnancy or an ovarian cyst. It was neither. Now the count down begins to our 20 week mark to see if the boys or girls are going to have the majority in the house.
