Seems like we have had alot of rain in the past two weeks. I think we had a shower at least once a day. And due to all the rain, my Hydrangea's and Day Lilies have really put out the blooms. Just wanted to show them off a bit. Can't wait for my summer Iris' to bloom.
The hydrangeas are Mophead (big Leaf) Nikko Blues. I'm getting the Purple and Pinks in the second bush, because the sun is taking the aluminum out of the soil. Can't make up my mind whether I want to add wood ashes to the soil to get the blue back in that part of the bush or not.
Here are my Day Lilies. I have them on the left side of the house along the fence line. It gets alot of sun, but they are shaded for the most of the hotter part of the afternoon.
